How To Get Here

Take any major airline to Seattle. From Seattle, it's just a 90 minute direct flight on Alaska Airlines to Ketchikan. We shall be waiting for you at the airport luggage carousel. From the airport it is a short ferry ride to the road system followed by a 20 minute drive to the marina where we moor our boat. From the marina it is a 30 minute boat ride to Naha Bay. (The short journey from the airport to us also gives you the opportunity to stock up on last minute flies, alcoholic beverages and your fishing license.).

For travelers already in Alaska, Alaska Airlines connects Ketchikan to Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Juneau and Anchorage.

Alternatively you can take the Alaska Marine Highway from Bellingham, and tour the southern portion of the Inside Passage prior to disembarking at Ketchikan. The Alaska Marine Highway also connects with Hyder, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Juneau, Haines and Skagway as well as a number of the smaller communities located along Alaska's inside passage.

BEST ARRIVAL TIMES are around 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you are going to arrive in Ketchikan late afternoon or early evening, you will need to stay in town for the night and we will pick you up from your hotel the following morning.

BEST DEPARTURE TIMES are around 11:00 am to noon. We do not recommend the early morning flight, as this requires a very early start and fog may result in you missing your flight. If the early morning departure is your only option we can drop you off in Ketchikan at the hotel of your choice on the previous afternoon.

If you need to stay in town some recommended hotels and B&B's are:

The New York Hotel
The Edgewater Inn (formerly The Narrows Inn)
The Landing Hotel
